Low cost Hospitals around Pattaya area

Hi, I have stiff knees, need to see a specialist, maybe require a knee cap replacement. I have read much about crazy prices at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital, one of the guys told me to check out hospital in Sri Racha, he said prices are a lot cheaper than Pattaya.

 

Can someone recommend any hospital which has knee specialists and also more importantly, low price, around Pattaya area or slightly further as transport is not a problem.

 

BTW, I do not have insurance coverage now, where can I buy insurance for hospital and accident in Thailand, any good policy to recommend? Thanks!

Sriracha hospitals are a lot cheaper than hospitals in Pattaya.

 

Also Chiang Mai may be an option.

I have seen that the Queen Sirikit hospital in Sattahip has been recommended in posts on various forums, don't have personal experience.

Thanks for the input, Chiang Mai is way to far, Sriracha or Rayong is still ok, Phyathai seems ok, has anyone gone to Phyathai? Is the pricing low or high?

You mean Pattaya Banglamung Hospital.

 

Good advice don't go there unless you really have to.

 

Don't have the time right now to tell about it but I wouldn't go there.

Bumrungrad Hospital in Bangkok lists all-in prices for popular procedures on their website. You usually get what you pay for.
