Drunken Duck LK Metro

Have had many a drink and pool game at this very relaxed venue and didn't realise it is also a guesthouse

untill some one else on this board said how good it was there.

I can't find any info or web site to book thru.Have googled and done a search on this site.

Any help would be appreciated.

Drunken Duck in LK Metro you sure you have the right soi/location lorenzo i cant recal seeing this bar/guest house in this area but there is a Drunken Duck bar up in Naklau soi 16 sounds like that might be your place , its chilled out and has room above . Hope that helps.

I stayed there in March/April 2007 and enjoyed my stay but since then I think the owner has changed and the website site is no more.

 

I did try and book again but never got a reply.

I believe the owner is Norwiegan and he also owns Blue Moon in LK Metro and another bar in Soi 7

recently opened in Nov 09.

Me & the GF regularly pop in for the free pool & reasonably priced drinks; Tiger 60B, Heineken 65B.

 

They have a sandwich board outside, simply states 'have room' & I've met one falang who is staying there.

Out of curiosity, why do you want to stay here in particular? There are many other guesthouses in the area!

The group of Pattaya friends I now have,who introduced me to this bar,do the same thing,we use as a meeting place.

It's also one of our watering holes, and it's 24 hrs.

Have been using it as a meeting place and hang out with my friends on my last 3 trips.

Was there last in Oct/Nov 09. Joy the ladyboy is a lot of fun and not threatening like some are and a dam good pool player.

On my last trip did stay in another Guesthouse in the area,can't mention name and found it really noisy.On a crn and it had open corridors on each floor that was letting the noise in.I am looking at other options,Rockhouse,3Some,Irishrovers etc.

The girls at the Duck are also non intrusive and will give you space if you want it.

I find it's just a really relaxing bar and as you said with moderate prices.

Drunkin Duck a LB Bar? What a load of bollocks!

 

DDuck is a nice, chilled place to hang out day or night. Was my regular for breakfast trip before last, until about 10 days ago I went in and they wouldn'y give me a menu. Previously they would have a Golf Club menu and order food across for you, but for some reason this time it was no go, maybe down to a ownership change alluded to above.

 

Don't know about the acommodation, but a good relaxed spot to spend an afternoon on LK.

Can't remember her name only that she had a great arse,lovelly long hair and spoke English reasonably well.

She is I was told a FL and hangs out at the bar.

 

No it's not a LB bar,Joy has been there since about May/June last year and is a lot of fun.

It's a one off situation.

 

It seems there a few BM's out there who know this place for it's Serenity and relaxed atmosphere.

And yes they get get some Honey's in there from time to time.

Not a bad bar but the Norwegian bloke who owns it, Rune, is a bit wierd. Thw welsh cunt who he has working for him owed me a 1000 baht, then fucked off for a few days. Everytime I went to the Duck or Blue Moon they said he was at Excellent Bar in Soi 7. I,d go down there and they say "He Dlunken Duck". He rang me when I was on the way home and a bit upset because I had abused his boss and called them all fucking liars. Anyway he promised he would give it to a TG I know but the cunt never showed and he still hasn't paid it. Nice bar but if your drinking with his welsh mate and he runs out of cash walk away.

I live in a village and its full of welsh cunt (female), the only is problem they are all old, grossly over weight and have bad attitudes. That why i come to Patts .

About to hit Patts soon,22/6 looking forward to the lazy recoupping

I heard about the change of ownership only a few days ago from one of the new owners.(A bloke that ive known for a while). I really have no idea about what his plans are for the place. I can tell ya that he is a decent bloke. Laid back, likes a beer and a round of golf. Cant see him changing too much but i cant really speak for him. As soon as i get any info or updates I promise to let you know.
