Is it Safe to go around this time of year?

Featured Replies

Hi all~

Well, I was planning a visit to Pattaya next week but after the news about red colour in Bang kok don't know if it is safe to go or not. I personally believe Pattaya is still ok but what I'm afraid is that if things get worse airport could be closed like last year? So what you guys think about? F*ck them and just go? or wait till things cool down?? God I miss Pattaya....

Hi I usually go pattaya this time of year, went this time last year always do songkran, I gotta thai girl here andshe agrees with me, SOD EM!!!! go anyway have a blast just dont wear any red or yellow t shirts and if your flight gets delayed so much the better, you will never have a better excuse for being late back!

I arrived in BKK on 04 April with no problems even though red shirts had massed in central BKK. Airport checkpoints setup at muliple rings around airport starting about one mile away from actual property. I believe a airport takeover as before is highly unlikely. In other words, Go For It.

The main danger all of us should fear is being attacked by sex driven maniac bargirls. But I am brave enough to chance it. Are you?
