Anyone stayed at the Barracuda Bar ?

Im booking to go to Pats in november - stayed in Pig and whistle last time - was fine but i had a look on barracuda bar website and it looks very nice for 700bt per night with nice bar. Its a bit out the way but 20bt each way is ok for bus. anyone recommend this place ?

My mate owns the bar and it is a great place to start a night out.

I have also stayed there a couple off times.

Now I normally stay at the Dusit so I like my luxurys but last July I had a chance of an extra holiday.

Stayed at the Barracuda and it was ok the room is basic but it has aircon a shower both of which worked.

A nice comfy bed and there was a lot less noise than I expected.

He has loads of return customers so he is doing something right.

I am considering staying at the Pig & Whistle later this year. What did you like and dislike about staying there?

actually the pig was great 750bt a room - was a bit noisey depending on what room you stayed in. But after 11 the noise was ok - food was exellent good range of beers - widescreen tvs in the bar and the staff had some hotties

I have eaten there a few times (great liver & onions) and spent time in the bar to escape the heat. I never knew they even had rooms until I brought up their website when I returned home or I would have asked to see one.

I will be staying there for 4 nights in late september.

Mind you then it is on to the Dusit thani for the remainder of my trip.

Will stay here for 2 nights at end of my trip with x-mas. Hard to find reviews of the place. But for the price it seems pretty good value.

Just stayed at the Barracuda for 3 nights.....great bar with great rooms.... I would reccommed it highly.....Tony is great, all the girls are great and know how to look after you....

I know the bar is really good.

One of the best in Naklua....sorry no info on the accom though.

Based on other reviews here it sounds OK though.
