Which holidays cause the gogos to close doors?

I was in patts for buddah day this year - patts shut down - the Walking Street was dark and mostly very quiet - quite strange.

 

Im back from 3rd of May till 11th May

 

last year there was the following holidays.... During my next stay coming up in a few weeks is Coronation Day 5th May & Visakha Bucha Day 8th May

 

Do these cause close downs like Buddah day?

 

Is there any other holidays later in the year that cause the gogos to shut? Kings Birthday I heard from someone...???

i only know of buddha day and even then shops are open

just no loud music
