I arrive in Patts on the 22nd so it'll all be over, I hope the crowds have dispersed by then. By the way, who are the top acts for this year?

I attended this event a few years ago. They had Tata Young as the opening act. Also, they featured an korean all-girl band, they were really hot.

Pattaya Music Festival update

18th March 2010With just two days left before the start of the three-day Pattaya Music Festival organizers claim everything is going according to schedule. In the early part of this week workers and technicians were busily engaged in putting the series of stages together and thereby helping to contribute to a series of traffic jams and give drivers an early taste of what to expect if they want to use a car or motorbike. They were also making sure there are enough speakers so that people as far away as Koh Larn won’t miss a single bass beat, provided the wind is blowing in the right direction. Organisers say some 800 police from Pattaya and surrounding districts will be on patrol over the three days of the Festival to provide traffic and crowd control. The entertainment begins at 6:00pm on Friday evening with about 100 Thai and international artists set to perform in a variety of musical styles from hip-hop and pop to R&B and rock.
