Center Condotel...What's it Worth?

I'm thinking about selling my Condo but not sure what it's worth. It's a 1 bdrm unit at Center Condotel in South Pattaya. I believe it's about 50sq m. It's on the 12th floor with an ocean view from the bedroom. I'm the original owner & bought it in 1990 while it was being built. I only use it about 1 month every year and besides that it's vacant and never been rented. I've only made minor improvements; the most significant is a wooden floor replacing the linoleum in the living room. The Bathroom & Kitchen are still in Thai style and not upgraded to European/American standards. I would appreciate any feedback regarding it's approximate worth, thanks.

You should get a estimate from some local real estate agents.

Try Northern Thai on 2nd road opposite Royal Garden, 1-Stop at Soi Yamato, Alan Bolton, or Town & Country.

All good agents IMO.

Out of curiosity, can you reveal what you paid for it in 1990?

I lived in Center Condo for a year (2005). I lived on a lower floor facing the parking lot. Not a great view, but I've heard units on the sea side must cope with the smell of cremations at the Wat. The unit I lived in was sold for 1.5 million baht in Feb. 2005. I rented for 14,000, including utilities.

 

Personally, I enjoyed living there, it was quiet and the location is good. Wouldn't mind living there again when I move back to Pattaya. My biggest complaint was the AC was located in the corner of the bedroom and didn't cool the living room. You could feel a significant temperature difference just moving between rooms.
