Yes $100-200 a day depending on the season

About the same price as a hotel room in a high class hotel like The Marriot or The Hard Rock Cafe

Of course these hotels are fine if you have the budget for them.

Most high class hotels in Pattaya are not guest friendly. They will of course accommodate your extra overnight guest but will charge you an arm and a leg for your pleasure.

 

If you can get even one mate to share then you can be quids in. Plenty of room to live together without probs. Maybe there are others on this board you may wish to approach to share costs

 

If you are staying a week or two and want to be mobile then the free airport transfers and free car hire are a great deal

There are several major supermarkets within a few minutes drive - so you can stock up with supplies there.

 

Jomtien and the surrounding area has many restaurants from cheap to expensive

You can eat for less than $1 at a local food stall

Or pay up around $5-10 at most restaurants

 

Eat on the beach - you sit there enjoying the sun and either the guys who organize the deckchairs can order food for you or an endless stream of vendors will offer everything from fruit to barbecued shrimp and crab
