9 Years Of Live Music At The Blues Factory!

On Friday 26th March the Blues Factory will be celebrating its 9th year anniversary so we will be holding a bit of a party in the club!

There will of course be 2 live bands featuring - "The Blues Machine" featuring Snowman and Mary and "The Rock Machine" featuring Pattaya's hottest new guitarist "Nueng" and of course our resident superstar The “Guitar King” of Thailand Lam Morrison.

I am also pleased to have a selection of guest artists who will be joining the bands on stage including some famous well known Thai musicians and a few local faces who in their own right are all recording artists and professional musicians.

Together with lucky number draws with some great prizes and a free buffet we hope to have a great night and we look forward to seeing you, last but not least I'd like to thank all who have helped us to provide great quality live music over the past 9 years.

Due to the Pattaya Music Festival starting on the 19th i've delayed the party a week so it will now be held on the Friday 26th March instead of the 19th as advertised a week or so ago.

Crawled home at around 05.00 this morning.

 

It was a fantastic night and if you were in Pattaya and didnt go you missed out!!

 

The music was awesome as usual and ifg anything Snowman edged Lam this time around and the Blues playing was awesome. There were two or three guests with the Blues Band who belted out some good ones

 

The raffle was quite funny. Good indication of who wears the troosers in Davethailand's house 555555. Most of the prizes were irons, and rice cookers etc. I won a rice steamer but being the gent' I am I gave it to our service girl - she seemed quite pleased

 

What was funny was that whenever the prize was an iron or a cooking thing etc a girly just happened to win. When it was a dvd player etc the blokes mysteriously came out of the woodwork.

 

Anyway fellas, if you have never been to The Blues Factory you should set aside (at least) one night for a visit on your hol's. If rock music is your scene get there around 00.30 to see Lam, but not on Mondays Trust me - you won't regret it.

Lam's a dynamite player, one of the best I've ever seen live and I've seen many of the greatest. He should be in a top international band.
