A question about Pattaya

Can anyone tell me if there is a library in Pattaya. Not a place that only offers a collection of books, but one you could go to and spend an afternoon reading or working on your computer. I know it may sound like a geek question but amid all the fun things to do here I also do some work. If there is one, what part of the city is it at? I don't know all the streets so well.

There is one in Jomtien...

 

Its a bit difficult to explain where it is, but you go in soi 5 or 7 from the Jomtien Beach Road and than move more eastwards into the land.

And I just googled and there seems to be one in Pattaya to.

 

Can you let me know how the library is...I am here also for work purposes (besides the pleasure off course) and do also need a location sometime.

If you want to work on your computer,why not use your room as an office.Most will have a computer table.Just my 2 baht

I went crossing with my bike and passed the librabry in Jomtien. You can get there when you go into soi 7 on Theppassit (If I am correct) or from the beachroad of Jomtien. It is located behind Jomtien Beach Condominium.

I think your right - isn't it up opposite the english pub Lord Nelson about 3/4 way up from Beach Road plave looks like a small government building with couple of flags outside

Canterbury Tales Cafe, well we are not really a Library but you can buy books and receive 50% credit refund when you have read the book, you can of course sit and read and have a coffee or cold drink and use the free Wifi.

Investigation complete - there WAS a libary in Soi 6, next to O Bar. Now it's in Thepprasit Soi 7... or it was, maybe there's another aged sign there.

 

 

Given how much time I've spent sitting on those little red chairs before I am forced to conclude that I really am an unobservant sod, and may well have missed the library even if it had been open

Hmm, no sign of a library on Thepprasit Soi 7 when I went to look today... is it the sort of thing you could easily miss?
