So Far So Good...

I received a call out of the blue today from EvaAir, informing me that my flight in April from YYZ-TPE will arrive 2 hours earlier due to a route improvement. I'm impressed so far.

Giggity.. 31 days to go...

Great airline.

Decent service. Lots of new aircraft.

In the US, buy your tickets from a travel agent to save $100 or more, over EVA web site prices. Travel agent tickets appear to be more flexible, no change fees.

EVA is my airline of choice. I started flying them about ten years ago and the only other airline that comes close is JAL. Never a problem with service and the value is great.

The only negative is their weight policy for carry-on. They can at times be strick with this regulation and make you check your bag if it's over the 15Kg limit.

Well considering carry on is limited at best to 7kg am not surprised you had to check the carry on !!

I love Eva, good flight times as well, i like the one that leaves BKK in the afternoon, getting to the UK early evening, gives you an extra night if your only on a short trip, a quick search on Westeast show £475 for late May, my next available trip, good price

I might be flying with eva from bkk to Lhr this time as they seem to be the cheapest. Can anyone tell me what the maximum luggage allowance is. And are they strict?

I flew EVA last year from LAX to BKK, and have booked them again for May and return in late June. Recent cost is $904. A good airline. IMO Thai Air is better (flew them in 2008), but costs $1300 round trip from LAX.

I like Eva a lot - and their Premium Economy (Laurel) class is a blessing if you, like me, have long legs.

One neat thing is that, if you are on a business trip, but have a stingy expenses policy that insists you must fly economy, their Laurel class appears simply as "Economy" in all of the paperwork.

I flew with EVA for my first trip. ok fares, good service , ok food the only thing was when i asked for a glass of red wine three times but I usually avoid alcohol on flights anyway , this instance was for a night cap.

EVA is on my top list.
