anyone got feedback on this resort? looks good for a superior sea view room...not a bad rate even in high season...trip advisor has good feedback...not mongering here, taking my girl for a little retreat...

I have spend my summerholiday, in 2005 I think, overthere. Lovely resort with a marvelous swimmingpool and decent rooms; I stayed with the wife in a superior bungalow as they were ending the build of the new building with new swimming pool.

Breakfast is OK, not excellent. Restaurant is too expensive, just accros the street to the right you will find nice thai based restaurants with better and cheaper food!

 

Check out the Sabay bar, a nice place with live band and fire shows with a party until the morning and lovely ladies!

 

Two other nice hotels at the end of White sand beach and klong prao are:

1) Koh Chang Thai Garden Hill resort = 1200 Baht TEL = 039.551573 or 08.63751069

2) Chai Chet resort = 1800Baht TEL = 039.551070 or 08.91177347 Cape Chai Chet 6/4Moo4

 

For the best beaches go to the north end of white sand beach!

Lovely resort, stayed there last October.

I have visited this place and would love to visit this again. Great resorts with excellent rooms, terrible beach and amazing swimming pool. The weather was little bad but other than everything was fine.

I stayed at Penny's Resort in February with a BG and found it very nice. The 1st pick is looking from pool area back at rooms and the 2nd is looking over pool at beach.

 

Oh, I should warn you that the beach just in front of resort is very rocky, however about 100 yard up is fine.

 

I would stay again.

Took my girl there last December. Great resort. No complaints
