Hotel raccomandation for newbie

Hi guys,

 

Sorry to always send the same question, I'm going to Pattaya the next week but after reading tons of your posts I'm a little confused.

 

However this is what I'm looking for:

 

- very close to the night-life and beach (nearest is better)

- girl-friendly (absolutely no joiner fee)

- Wifi in room

- swimming pool

- friendly staff

- 1 week stay

- best if rate lower than 2000THB

- of course clean, safe, secure ...

WOW This place must have changed. Last time I checked on this board it was called more like a Frathouse!! Please correct me if I am wrong.

I have been to Pattaya many times and stayed in numerous different hotels over the years. 2 years ago we made the mistake of booking the Penthouse without first going to have a look. What a mistake. A filthy cockroach infested dump. I have to say the rooms are brilliant in design and equipment but non of us could manage to stay having seen how dirty the place was. Of all the hotels we have stayed in this was far and away the worst choice. Fortunately we moved straight away and got a great deal at Diana Inn.
