I usually just catch a case of the shits, but that nothing that Imodium can't fix. One a day in pattaya always seems to do the trick. Its smooth from there on out.

"A lot of people ask me, 'Kenny Powers, you're a giant superstar. You can get any woman. Have you ever paid for sex?' And the answer is yes, I have. Several times, in fact. And it's actually kinda cool. You can negotiate practically anything and sometimes, even just kind of do stuff in the moment that you never agreed to pay for and it goes by without much argument."

Most times you get sick by the vegetables that are washed in plane water! Or when taking a late night snack at a bycicle-bbq at Walking Street.

NO, if you eat thai food where the Thais eat too, it is even more hygienic as in many farang restaurants despites you sit on the sidewalk but the problem is that many farangs their stomach isn't up for a decent thai meal in combination with the heat and booze!

The best food i eat is always THai and it's at the parking of the Alcazar cabaret located at 2nd road bedides sabai resort you find +- 8 foodstalls under a white metal round roof see http://www.pattayaphotoguide.com/?NwzRUH4skc2B8CAA

every stall has it's own speciality and they are all really cheap "khao pad" 35 Bath a big fish 135 Bath

A good girl gives you happiness and a bad girl gives you experience both are essential in life so enjoy every girlfriend!

I have to say that eating somewhere just because you see Thais eating there means nothing. The sea food place on Soi Marine, lots of Thais eat there, two of my friends got real sick. The soi where Anglewitch is, pretty much only Thai chicks eating there, another friend had to stay a night in the hospital from eating at one of the soup places there.

Try and watch the street vendor for a bit before you buy from them to see how they act. Are they touching the food after it's cooked with bare hands? Are they letting flies sit on the food? Stuff like that. I saw one BBQ vendor on 2nd Rd near Soi Diamond actually sharpening or cleaning off his knife on the concrete electric pole!

At another BBQ spot outside the 7-11 at the intersection of Soi Dianna and Soi Bukhao, the young girl who didn't know any better, actually put our cooked food onto a plate filled with raw beef juice, then put it in the bag! That would have been a fun few days in the shitter.

Good stuff but be careful.

I think the Thais will tell you if a vender is good or not, I once had food poising in the UK from a corn beef pate my vomit was bright green like that luminous stuff kids play with and I thought an Alien was going to burst out of my stomach any second.

i managed to pick up 'hep a' from thailand. didnt really know i had it, just thought it was a bit of a 24hr bug thing. ever since then i have never had any problems with the street food or vendors (once youve had 'hep a' you cant catch it again) or even drinking the water

I eat from street carts and markets all the time in Pattaya. The only time I ever got sick from food was from a restaurant.

Just avoid any place that does not seem busy. If Thais are eating there in numbers your odds are good it's safe.

I ate nearly every night from the street vendors in various places around town without any trouble apart from eating a hot pepper by mistake. Maybe just lucky but I cant recall ever in the past having food poisioning so maybe an iron stomach too?

I ate mostly stuff on scewers, like bits of chicken, beef(?), pork ball stuff, sausage on a stick thing, chicken wings(?)(which didnt seem to have much meat on them) Also had sticky rice and different fruits but cant remember their name. wimped out on the insect type stuff though. The only thing I didnt like was the chicken soup cause it tasted a bit bleachy or kinda like something you'd clean your kitchen or bathroom with!?!?

I read somewhere on the forum that you should sent the girl to buy the street food cause they'd (hopefully) know the good vendors from the bad. :)

I would be carefull of fish that's not fully cooked, More so in Africa then asia but there is a parasite found in fish that can live for years in the body till oneday you have problem breathing. your doctor will treat you for pneumonia, but when you cough up a red frothy mess find a specialist. Can take over a year to kill all the eggs to be fully cured.

Eat fully cooked fish :NoNo3:

Ate street food on Soi 7 most days in June and never had any problems. Loved the chicken strip things which came with a little bag of rice no idea whats in called. I was staying on LK Metro and my soi 7 bar girl ate twice in the LK area and thought it was crap and she was sick once
