I notice that the rates "start at" 4b/min. Check out their rates page for individual country rates, UK is 6-7b/min. And notice that "Rates are exclusive of 7% VAT", so tack on another 7% on the price of every call.

http://www.ain.co.th/en/00500_rate.html

Sounds like a better deal than it is, still probably better than standard rates.

For the 00500, I believe it's only for AIS 1-2 Call.

I called Singapore from Thailand for 5 baht/min.

Just have to dial 00500 (Country Code) (XXXXXXXX)

Eg. 005006599999999

I have had this card now for almost a year. Being pattaya based and only calling the USA. I will say it works flawlessly. To the usa land line or cell phone 1 baht a minute. I still have ais as my local carrier at 75 satang per minute

I have this. I actually bought it because the recharges last 365 days. As someone who receives endless calls but only makes one or two a month this is ideal for me. I also bought it for the cheap overseas calling but in the 2 months since I bought it have never had occasion to call anyone outside of Thailand and I'm still on my original 50B.

The network coverage in Pattaya is fine for everywhere that I have been.
