Golf membership worth it?

I am considering buying a golf membership at either Green Valley or Phoenix. I would like to get some opinions from others who have done it. Did you find it worth it? I realize there is the simple economic equation of rounds played per month and money saved. But what about the other issues like playing the same course over and over. As well as not playing other courses because you have a membership at yours. Any regrets? Thanks!

Hi in my humble opinion no dont join golf is cheap in thailand just go out with the guys at numurous outlets and enjoy .Like you say if you join too get the most out off it you will have to play most days.Ilived in rayong for five years and the two clubs you mention played them 2 or 3 times a week plus over the years all the other courses ENJOY
