Recommended Posts

I have a Packard Bell Easynote laptop (vista)thats not working properly.(comes on for 5 or 10 mins then the screen goes black......not screensaver )...in the uk it would not be economically viable to fix it i think but was wondering if it may be worth taking it to LOS

any idea what might be wrong with it

being a Packard Bell will it be fixable in LOS

what might the cost be

where is the best place to get it fixed

Thanks for any advice

I don't know your machine and can't diagnose your fault but..........

There are several repairers in Tukcom and the chances are they'll fix it.

They may say motherboard need repair - 3500 baht with 1 month guarantee - how much is it worth?

If you need parts, you may have to source them yourself - Ebay can help.

They may just reformat - 300 baht. If you have a genuine OS bring the disc. Otherwise they'll just do it with a copy and then you'll need a patch to make it "genuine". There is a crackdown on piracy. It's caught some businesses out but it's endemic.
