B52 Nightclub on Walking Street raided by Provincial Police.

 

Pattaya, December 9 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : Over the past few years a number of bars employing Eastern European dancers have appeared, mostly on Walking Street, and they have been operating in apparent contravention of Thailand’s Labor Laws. In the early hours of Wednesday Morning, Police Lieutenant Colonel Rangsalit, from the Chonburi Provincial Police Special Investigations Unit led a team of officers on a raid of the B52 Nightclub located within Soho Square at the southern end of Walking Street. Inside the club a total of 11 Eastern European Women were detained and appeared to be working as hostesses and dancers. They were challenged to produce passports and work permits and were unable to do so. All the women were taken to Pattaya Police Station along with the Thai manager of the venue who will be charged with illegally employing foreigners. The women appeared relaxed as their paperwork was being processed at the station. If found guilty of working without a valid work permit, they could face deportation.

I go to Pattaya to meet Thai/asian woman. So the sooner the Thai police deport these eastern european woman the better.
