Confused and Broke German creates havoc around Pattaya.

Pattaya, November 25 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : On Tuesday Afternoon, Police Lieutenant Colonel Sumet from Pattaya Police Station was called to the Green hotel Pattaya located in Soi 9, only meters from the station itself, to deal with a foreign man who was threatening to jump off a 5th floor balcony. Officers arrived and eventually persuaded the man to come away from the edge. He was detained for his own safety and taken to Pattaya Police Station. A Bangkok Taxi Driver, Khun Banyar aged 49 was close-by and informed Police that he had just brought the man in his taxi from the Suvamnabumi Airport in Bangkok to Pattaya. Initially the German man, later named as Mr. Alexander Bernard Otto Clouth aged 28, refused to tell the driver where he was going but upon arrival in Pattaya the taxi driver was directed to drop him off in front of Tops Supermarket in Central Pattaya. The agreed price for the journey was 1,500 Baht, however Mr. Clouth appeared to have no money apart from a small amount of Philippine Peso’s which he tried to offer the taxi driver. He then left the taxi and began a conversation with another foreign man before he began to run towards the Green hotel where he was picked up by Police. Mr. Clouth was incarcerated and then released a few hours later. Later on Tuesday Night, he was then picked up by the Tourist Police based on Walking Street who took him to the Tourist Police Station. The intention was to contact the German Embassy on Wednesday Morning; however he left the Tourist Police Station later on in the night and then ended up in front of Pattaya Police Station wearing no cloths. The now naked and confused Mr. Clouth then ran away from Pattaya Police Station in the direction of Soi Beokeow where he was picked up again and taken back to the Station where he was once again incarcerated. We understand he is now receiving assistance from the German Embassy. The reason behind his actions is still not known as he refused to speak with anyone at either Pattaya Police Station or the Tourist Police Station.

Wow, it's getting to the point where a crazy foreigner can't roam the streets of a strange country naked and suicidal any more. What is this world coming to? Next thing you know we woul'nt be able to eat our young and throw feces at passing cars without the cops harassing us.
