Review Queen Vic

I dont think they need it but here's a short review of the Queen Vic on Soi 6.

 

Just spent 2 weeks there and found it to be ideal. Everything they say on the website is true. Very clean room, comfy bed, DVD and wide screen TV. Ample wardrobe space. Maid service excellent, never disturbed me and snuck in whilst I was out. Toilet, shower immaculate.

 

So who would like to stay in the Queen Vic? Anyone who's a fan of Soi 6. Location is perfect and if like me you like the view ask for a room with balcony overlooking the action. Loved the quiet moments with a cuppa gazing down at all the comings and goings. At night, surprisingly quiet so sleep not a problem. I wont rave about the bar because its not the sort of place for someone on their own. Its obviously trying to be an oasis of calm in the maelstrom that is Soi 6 and it succeeds. Food is very good if a little pricey compared to other nearby establishments. Security is there from mid evening onwards and both guys I saw were attentive, always checking and keeping the IDs of the girls I brought home.

 

Before I booked I had read a few comments regarding aggresive LBs on 6/1 (after the bar closes you enter via the backdoor on 6/1, very apt). To put your minds at ease I staggered home late most nights and never had a problem. Plenty of LBs but if you engage them with a smile and a brief chat they wont bother you.

 

Pro's...clean...spacious....BG friendly....safe...location

 

 

Cons.....honestly cant think of any (I'm not going to mention English owned)
