"give Him Pizza Hut's Phone#!" - Or "why I Luv Patts"

So I'm "living la vida loca" in Farangland last night (i.e., standing in line at Wal-Mart) when I hear a commotion at the front of the line.

 

I'm next, and see the pair of checkout girls laughing and shrieking at eachother.

 

Apparently a shy lad had given one of the girls a note as he left, asking her out and leaving his email address for her to email her phone#. "Ah, the vagaries of youth, how cute" I think to myself

 

The girl's reaction to his charmingly shy courship? She was running around the store showing the kid's note to all her friends, laughing & asking them for ideas of how to fuck with him.

 

"Give him Pizza Hut's phone#!" I heard one say as I stepped up to the register.

 

"Naw, the best idea I've heard so far is the police station's number!"

 

Now mind you, I didn't see the kid, and this girl wasn't a 200LB old hag - but she was clearly well on her way to becoming so in the not too distant future. But instead of being at all flattered by this kid's amorous attentions, all she could think about apparently was how to fuck with him.

 

Another reminder why, although I may be stuck in Farangland at the moment, my heart will always be in Pattaya

 

Anyone else encounter some fresh reminders recently of "why Patts"?
