I watched last nights game here in my room.

 

Was very impressed with Robson's first game in charge. I think the Thai's attack is a handful for anyone, including some of the bigger nations. They broke quickly and at times ripped apart the Singapore defence as their back line was far too far up the field.

 

Defensively though, I have to be honest and say once or twice it was comical and had Singapore taken advantage they could have had at least 2 more goals.

 

I guess it all comes down to the Thai defenders being a little smaller than some nations, their Keeper seemed to look 4 feet high! He was competant though.

 

Qualification for the asian cup finals I think is a good possibility, whether Robson can organise them better defensively for qualification for the next world cup remains to be seen.

 

Not a bad team in the making I feel.

How did Surat and Sutee go? They play for my team in Australia`s A league. Melbourne Victory. Go Chonburi FC. Next year they will be champions of the TPL.

As far as I could see they did OK. Commentary hard to follow in Thai!
