Diamond beach ressort ? Anyone stayed there?

Hi All, preparing my first pattaya trip (26/11 to 11/12) and looking for an hotel.

 

I have found this hotel http://www.sawadee.com/hotel/638164#details which seems perfect on paper but we all know there can be a large difference between the website and the reality...

 

So if anyone has any first hands experience of the place.

 

I have actually found a great place for 23000 bath for 15 days (the sabai empress) but the diamond beach has a better location relative to WS.

i stayed there for the first time i came to patts

hotel is right in the middle of the action

costs 800/night in low season

not sure about high

assume it would be something like 1000 which would end being 8k cheaper than the one you mentioned

has a safe, is girl friendly, rooms are ok

but realistically speaking i was not there for the lavishness

i would rather take the 8k and spend it on the girls
