Early Evening/ Late Night clinic testing

I've always used condoms for everything, but after reading that recent story about a girl with HIV I'm thinking about even taking the next step in safety and asking any girl I go with to get tested. I read on here about the Dr. Olivier Clinic, and what I'd really like is just some suggestions on fast ways to take care of it. I know the best HIV test takes multiple days, but there is a decent one that gives same day results.

I generally like to pickup freelancers (18 to early 20s) and normally not before for 5 PM. I just want to make sure where I am going will do a full work up and get it to me the same day. AKA I want them to actually check her and not just rubber stamp it.

That fact that Olivier is a western Dr. and english speaker is a big plus for me. I just wondered if any of you knew a legit clinic that might be open til at least 9 or 10 PM. If not has anyone tried to call that 24 hour number that Olivier has posted?

It isn't something I've considered before, but I've got a clean bill of health and I'd like to keep it that way. I know it still comes with its risk, but I'd feel a lot better if I happen to run into a horrible person like the one interviewed for that story... that I'll at least avoid cluelessness or evil girls like that. And if something comes up positive... safer for me to know... and better for her to get it taken care of. Hell I'll pay for the STD meds.

I know lots of guys go for the cheap medical treatment overseas, but personally I don't. If my blood is getting drawn it is getting done by my doctor in the USA. I'm assuming if I ask a girl to get tested.... she'll expect me to do it as well. Think I'd have success with bringing my paperwork from the USA... or would I have to pay some clinic to rubber stamp me? lol

Any of the hospitals, Bangkok - Pattaya & Pattaya International, can run the checks and give you the results in around an hour.

Just a note though: Just because your lust of the moment passes a HIV test doesn't mean she doesn't have HIV, she could have recently contracted the virus and it has not taken hold enough to register in the general HIV blood test. There are also other STD's, like Hep C, that takes longer than 1 hour to get results - a week from memory.

The safest you are going to get is not having sex but that defeats the purpose of coming to Pattaya doesn't it. Always rubber up and you should be good to go.

Yea I know the risks man and know that one test doesn't mean she didn't pick it up the night before... or the week before. But I'm already a guy who prefers quality over quantity, so I figured why not go the extra step and get the test done. Oliviers office just seemed close... pick up a freelancer... get her tested... go out to eat... an hour later you are in business.

Pattaya Memorial will run the test 24/7 its 700 baht and takes between 40 minutes and 1 hour.

What if she wants the same assurance, i.e that you get tested?

You have a point. Thailand is commonly considered a 3rd world country... and I would suspect all our doctors would advise against non emergency medical treatment there. I've been thinking of bringing the results with me from the USA. Pattaya Memorial, from the map, seems a bit of a trip. IDK if that would appease them.
