Hi all,

I have been reading quite a lot on these forums about accomodation options available in Pattaya but I still need your opinions. I am looking for a hotel or guesthouse for my stay next March. I am looking for a place in the area of Soi Lengkee/Bukhao preferably but other areas close to the action are considered. Last year I stayed at Opey and have only good things to say about the hotel, but it lacks an inroom safe deposit box.

Many bms mention the following hotels - LK mansion, Billabong, Opey, J&P Court, Sunview. If you had to give a rating to each and everyone of them, what will it be? Are there any others worth mentioning?

Thanks for your help

Just stayed at Pattaya Bay Resort. Has in room safe and is a very clean and friendly hotel. Also has free wifi in all the rooms, or free internet on pc's in the lobby.

I will definitely stay there again.

Cheers

Tony

J&P - clean basic rooms but no wifi, nice swinning pool (700B)

Opey - very much the same as J&P with decent swimming pool and internet and wifi (750B)

Valentine guest house - never stayed but told it is well worth the cash (not sure of cost I think about 600)

Rockhouse (LK Metro) Old rooms are massive new rooms are large, well fitted out and good facilities - no pool (750 - 850)

Metro apartments (Only ever stayed in the large suites) but they are brilliant rooms and huge balconies (Suite 900 room i think 700)

Sawasdee (Diana) - stay clear (450 but shithole)

Wha's like us?
