Making merit the turtle way

I came across this story in the Pattaya Daily News and realised it deserved a wider audience. If I had read this in the UK, I would have been checking the date to make sure it wasn't April the first. I suppose it does illustrate the innocent, almost naive, nature of traditional Thai beliefs.
