Well, he's gotta be better than that Italian cripple they signed in the summer.

Doubtless to play alongside Irish international, Rick O'Shea.

Other breaking news being that the Premier League referees are to be sponsored by SpecSavers.

Mike Jones, the referee, has been demoted for his error and will have to ref Peterborough vs Scunthorpe next weekend. Bloody 'ell, if he makes another mistake they might send him to Goodison next! What about the poor fella's human rights?

My Pattaya budget is perfectly adequate as long as I don't spend any of it

If the powers that be do send him to Goodison Park in the near future the Everton fans would give him a standing ovation for letting the goal stand... :Good_Post:

They're also after that well-known Dutch striker, Hertz van HIre, and his Russian mate, Inoff the Post.

Gotta say that Sunderland were really on the ball on Saturday as well.

As for the ref's fitness; the only problem I see is that their watches ain't got the necessary stamina. They seem to have trouble keeping up with time at old Trafford and , with 6 mins of extra time in this game, had the same trouble here.

Liverpool chase Van Nistelrooy2009-11-22 - Added by ExtraFootie Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez is readying a January swoop for out of favour Real Madrid hitman Ruud Van Nistelrooy, as he looks to solve the striking crisis at Anfield.

The former Manchester United ace is almost certain to leave Los Blancos in January after being told that he no longer has a future at the club.

Van Nistelrooy, 33, is currently sidelined having failed to fully recover from a string of niggling injuries but is close to returning to first team action. However, he has managed just four appearances for Madrid this term and knows that if he wants game time then it will be only be found elsewhere.

A number of Premier League sides are reportedly interested in his signature, but Liverpool have moved to the front of the queue this week, and will table a lucrative package in the near future in a bid to bring him to Anfield.

From the Premier League predictions topic:

1] SAF will have his regular pop at Liverpool / referees / the absence of penalties / opposition goal-keepers saving penalties.

2] Senor Benitez will have a new year pop at SAF.

3] Come the icy weather, Manchester City's bus will topple over due to being unbalanced and with too much weight up-front.

4] Chelski will be in touch with GH about a temporary manager's job by February.

5] Liverpool will sign Ruud Van Nistleroy in the January transfer-window having "missed out" on Michael Owen in the summer.

6] SAF will be regularly visiting MO's stables checking out some plodders who might replace his own back four.

7] Arse-seen Wenger will promise new signings for the 2012-13 season.

8] From his new Cheshire home, Gareth Barry will make regular midweek trips to Old Trafford and Anfield to experience live the Champions League he is so enthused about.

9] Managers of clubs who visit Burnley in the bleak months of January and February will support renewed moves for a mid-winter break.

10] Burnley, Hull and Wolves will bid farewell to the Premiership come May.

11] And the champions will be.......

Well, who cares? We all get so bombarded by pundits opinions, repeats, analysis, views from different angles, that we 'll be bored witless.

Spooky or what? I might be wrong on Burnley. I hope so.

The dippers are a club in turmoil. Obviously I find it funny as fuck because I'm a United fan and I hope it continues. Now the FA cup is there only chance of silver wear this season, which if they don't win will mean at least five years without a trophy. :LMFAO: If the worse case scenario (that they fail to qualify for next seasons CL) becomes a reality, which is looking very likely then they are in real trouble because they will need to sell Torres if he hasn't already left by then to try and balance the books. The fat Spanish waiter was told by the board his job is safe today but if you believe that you'll believe anything. Who will be first to go? Torres or the waiter?

I watched the game last night and although they won they looked like a side with no heart that had run out of ideas. They rely on Torres too much and the fat waiter doesn't know what his best eleven is.

Nothing surprises me in football and it wouldn't if Torres went to United when he gets sold. Whatever happens, the dippers are still shit.

I thought Liverpool could be serious contenders this season, but only if Torres and Gerrard were fit and performing all season. Well, they haven't been and this team could easily finish mid-table. it appears they have no money to sign anyone decent and realistically I think it's unlikely they'll win either of the cup competitions they are in (certainly not on current form). You just wonder what a bad season might do for them. Leeds in 2004 anyone??

Given the choice between winning £20m on the lottery or seeing The Scouse Filth do a Leeds, (financial meltdown, a firesale of their best players & 3rd tier football in 2012) I'm snubbing the money every time! It's the very least their scum-bag supporters deserve.

Feel better after getting that phlegm off your chest, sweetheart?:Pervert:

Banter is one thing, but thats pure poison

Bet you feel really proud having said it, now huh?

Was your mother frightened by one?

Or did your sister go out with one?

You never said which team you follow............i wonder why (notice i never said "support" or " are a fan of" because you are NEITHER, if you have to resort to the kind of post you made above.
