When I first arrived in Pat I stayed in the cheapest place I could find at the earliest convenience. I looked round a few but didnt want to waste to much time trawling for hotels when I could be out and about.

Coming back soon and would love to hear your recommendations, (any photo's also appreciated)

The best hotel room I have stayed in, is the Penthouse Suite on the top of LK rennaisance, but its 7-14k a day depending on your length of stay.

the second best room I have stayed in, is the penthouse suite in The Vault hotel, they have at least 3 and are currently building more. They have just remoddelled rooms. They are only 2900 baht a night and you get discount with an addicts card.

I really like the Marriott resort & Spa. Service and location are amazing, great grounds if you need some hangover quite. Prices start at around 3500b but deals are always available. I'm there next week and there is a special where if you stay 3 nights you only pay for two. They are totally girl friendly and the jacuzzi tub is a blast with company.

Depends on the time of year, but if you go from April 15th thru October 31, I think the rooms (regular room / king bed) at the Pattaya Bay Resort simply cannot be beat for value...the hotel is nearly new (3-ish years old), clean (and i mean spotless), well appointed (king bed, in room safe, big TV with enough english channels, balcony, nice furnishings), great central location (easy walk to LKMetro as well as Walking Street) and Soi 6 is a quick baht bus away (5 minutes tops), great shops/movies/restaurants just a block away at The Avenue and the new Central Festival a 2 minute baht bus ride...and VERY girl friendly...Ive had as many as 4 girls up to my loom and pool and never a word or a charge...maybe just a giggle from the girls at the front desk, which is all in good humor...all this for less than 900 baht if you stay 7 days, 999 baht if you dont.

have a look-see...western owned and run...guest service is a 10...have stayed there for 3 years now, every trip...weeks at a time...NEVER disappointed.

BUT, because its soooooo popular, book well in advance, they are nearly full all the time. I still think its an good deal from Nov 1 to April 14, just not a GREAT deal...room goes up to 1300 baht and no 7th night free.

Cheers, alex

I always like staying at the "Welcome Plaza". I like it's location on the 2nd raod in South Pattaya. It's very close to Walking Street. And being on the 2nd Road you can easily head north by getting on the back of a baht bus.

And the hotel is girl friendly. In fact on a couple of occasions I have taken 2 girls back to my hotel and reception didnt bat an eyelid.

The vault gets my vote... all the rooms are great (penthouse's have stripper poles)... the price is good... not a bad location, just 2 minute walk to walking st.... the owner mike is a super guy, will bend over backwards to help you out and is a blast to hit the bars with... and they have a great porch out front, drink a beer and watch the madness of second rd. go by...

Living in Pattaya racing motorcycles and drinking like a fish...

I've only been once for 2 weeks but changed hotels a few times, stayed at penthouse 5 nights real nice hotel 1000THB a night mirrored ceiling and walls and a stripper pole + wifi, granted the food wasn't to good and the club was full of LB's, the green hotel next to the central mall utter shit only stayed one night 750THB, Secrets 1000THB a night so far my favorite nice room with balcony over looking Soi 14 food was real good the bar was a nice place to drink, but I had a starfish experience with one of the dancers real stunner at that stayed there for 5 days would have stayed longer but they had several parties coming in that had booked rooms, and the Diamond beach hotel on Soi Diamond for 3 nights 800THB a night was kind of a shit-hole crappy rooms horrible food wouldn't let me get an extra pillow really, who sleeps with just one pillow under their head, shit I'm in fucking Iraq and I've got 3

That would be Lek Villa Naklua road soi 18/2 for me: superb 50m freshwater swimming pool with 2 jacuzzi's back wing rooms 1 year old with seperate shower and bathtub in each room and an enormous breakfastbuffet until 1pm/13h00 at a price of 1850Bath included 2 person breakfast when staying more as 6 nights.

A good girl gives you happiness and a bad girl gives you experience both are essential in life so enjoy every girlfriend!

I've stayed at many different places over the years. Eastiney, Marriott, Hard Rock, whitehouse condotel, Tim's botique, LK metropole and metro apartments. But the place I've settled on and been staying at for the past couple of years is LK reniessance. It's still semi new, great staff, guest friendly (multiple guests OK), great location and all the other features I look for. I've already booked them for 3 weeks in December.

I have stayed at the Residence Garden several times and will return there next month for 2 months. The rate is $45 US a night for a 2 room suite. You have a seperate beedroom and a livingroom with balcony. Room also includes a small kitchen area with microwave, stove, refrigerator & bar. I don't do any cooking on these trips but the microwave is handy to warm something up on occasion.

The hotel has 2 swimming pools and a really nice buffet restaurant which has what they call a Texas Bar-B-Q every night. During the day food is available around the pool from their grill.

Totally girl friendly, no lobby to pass through, bring as many up to the room as you like.

The girls like the room and are welcome to use the pools.

I have stayed at the Marriott before and my rooms at the Residence Garden have been larger at half the cost.

^That looks like a great spot. Was gonna book with pattaya bay resorts but they may be full. This should be a great alternative. Is the internet free?

I cant belive. Still more people recomend this hotel. I have been for one night in August. After read at review from this forum. Provably, same kind of Publicity. I sorry for Naklua Rd. The hotel is new, but look as older as Nana hotel. For the quility of the contruction and bad taste in decoration. Big room all white pinter and few simple and cheap furnitures. For 1500 bath in Low Season. The day after i had a room in Sabaidee Lounge for 1200. Very good. But 1750 by now. Bit expensive. A mounth late one room in LK Renassence for same price, 1500 Bath. Very good feelling for some one who never met luxuries.

One thing, girls i bring there, dont feel more excitated or interested in me. That ones i have take into a more low budget place. As i said before, many opinions may be publicitaries and others just came from people that everything is fantastic for them.

I stay in over 20 hotels in Pattaya. Still dont know, where im going a stay next weekend.

You Could do no worse than the 'Travellers Rest Hotel" in Soi LK Metro just off Soi Diana.

It is central. Rooms from 600bht has all the facilities you need.

Good Food available, A quiet bar but noisy ones near by.International big screen TV.

Plenty of eye candy around and about along with some very nice Go Go bars

Well worth a look at. Name of owner is Fergus

Why not call in and speak to him.or ring him on 0860567019

If you are a golfer they organise outings as well with the TRGG
