Mixx Nightclub Raided last night

Mixx nightclub was raided last night by the police at around 3-3.30am all the arabs were let out and my GF was stuck inside waiting for a piss test.

 

She was stuck in there some time, I don't mind that, but the police were shouting "ihia" "isat" at the girls, treating them all like working girls. Not impressed.

I was in there last week before DJ Domination's birthday. It was full of mostly guys. Last Jan09 was my first time there and it was great. There had to be a ratio of 25-1 girls to guys. This trip was crap. Music repeated a lot and there were a lot of fat farang women and Russian women. When the Thai girls did show up around 2am the place was still mostly guys.

 

I hate to see how it is in the high season in December when I return.

My friend used to DJ @ Mixx, been meaning to check it out. Might make a nice change. Im sure high season will be different.

ihia is male monitor lizard, which is a bad insult, if you want guarenteed violence you call a thai man ehia (female lizard)

 

isat is like calling someone an animal, esat for calling them a female animal.

 

Personally I find it a compliment being called an animal, but its very bad language in Thailand and loses alot of face for Thais. I never use either of these words, apart from joking with my dogs.

I am suprised he doesnt get a night once a week at our Sattahip Nightclub! It might be more at his level... ah thats not fair, I have no idea of his talent, I just don't like someone labeling themselves the best DJ in Asia, thats basically disregarding the skills of competitors, when its the crowd who need to judge. Tomski808 is getting a good online DJ presence, he has the potential to go further!

My Teluk called me because she was also stuck in club mixx when it was raided. She was mad because the police were saying "fuck you" and other insults to her. She also said there were about 400 women in the club.

I know of Dominations skills, what he can and cannot do, but he is nowhere near what he makes out he is. He isnt very well liked by alot of local DJ's from what I know.

 

I like Dj Tomski, but he smells funny.

In the past months, was a few GoGos and Discos raided. Sometime the police only check the stuff for drug usage, sometime they check also falangs. So far i know, they only check for yabah drug. Can someone agree this ?

Great stuff! Just today there was a big write up on Pattaya Daily News about anniversity party (last night?) with many Pattaya dignitaries in attendance. Hope they have been piss tested too (shaking my head all the time about the great visions they have for Pattaya)

i don't know i was not impressed by domination's skills.. my boy, dj toma in vegas from hawaii is a better dj, but then again he doesn't claim he is the best dj in asia. i was thinking of trying my mixing skill in pattaya, but my style of mixing might be a little more on the old school side.

I've been to most Nightclubs in Pattaya but the Mixx Nightclub is one I've not yet visited. I will be in Pattaya for Christmas and New Year and plan to visit Mixx Nightclub then. I'm sure my 21 year old Thai girlfriend will be more than keen to visit...lol

KC, Mixx is more of an after party venue, just like Insomnia, and it doesnt get going till around 3am and finishes just after 5am. The crowd starts at Marine, Lucifer, Candy Shop, Tonys and Walking Street Bar and then moves to either Mixx, Insomnia or Marine Yen Sabai discos.
