Hello everybody I wanted to ask if perhaps you could help me out with some advice.

I plan to go pattaya in december and I am currently looking for a hotel in South Pattaya with rooms under 1000 baht per night.

I stayed at Queen Victoria earlier this year but unfortunateely they have no room aviable in my timespan.

As already mentioned I am looking for a room under 1000 baht/per night.

My ideal hotel would have:

- a pool (really missed this the last time)

- a safe in the room (an absolutely must for me)

- and being somewhow centrally located close to Walking Street (or at least easily reachable by baht bus)

I already looked on the internet extensively but a hotel that has one of my criterias usually lacks the other.

As I am fairly new to pattaya (just stayed there onec for 7 days) I also am not entirely sure how well connected some parts of the city are.

Thanks in advance for any helpfull suggestions and hints.

P.S: As you might have figured out english is not my first language so let me know if anything was unclear in my post.

P.P.S: By the way awesome site.

I'd go for the PBR, not sure on high/low season dates, but you should be able to get a standard for 999. I went budget this time around and stayed on Soi 8, don't make that mistake, you certainly get what you pay for, so considering spending about 1500 and your options really open up.

I don't know any for 1000 bht and under with those 3 qualities. I agree, you go a bit higher

and your chances improve.

A suggestion, there are condominiums in Jomtien that are really nice. Some 1 bedrooms, and some

efficiencies. The efficiencies are much larger than most hotel rooms I have stayed in and have a full

kitchen (full refigerator, flat screen TV, internet, pool, safe, ect).

On the ground floor there is laundry, cafes ect.

The only real difference is that there is no daily maid service. That would cost you about 150bht per

day (if you can not clean up the next day yourself!)

I have seen them on the below website @ about 1200 bht. The are in Jomtien on the beach, but

7-10 minutes to Walking Street. As you know, December is high season, so...

Hope this helps your search... bier ya :GoldenSmile1:

Quite an ask...

Sunview Place on Soi Buakhao is my suggestion. The pool isn't massive, but at least it's got one and it has in-room safe and is on the button money-wise. I personally like the Soi Buakhao area - plenty to do. Pattaya is not that hard to figure out for getting around - Baht buses are easily available on Buakhao and should get you to Walking Street with minimal problems. Actually, the Baht bus will drop you on the corner of South Pattaya Rd and Second Road giving you a massive 200-yard walk to the top of Walking Street.

Thanks for your answers so far.

SunView Place actually looks good.

Thanks for that tip.

I have now settled for another option.

The Canterburytales Cafe.

Does not have pool though but should be in my budget.

Thanks for all the help anyway

Opey is in Central Pattaya in Soi Lenkee (just off Soi Bukhoaw). It's a rather small pool but the rooms are pretty nice and the restaurant downstairs has some decent cheap eats. I've stayed there several times and have enjoyed my stay everytime. I'm currently down the street at Nikom Court. I couldn't pass on the 13,000 baht I paid for the month, although I'm sure it will bump up soon since the high season is just around the corner. Currently the daily rate is 550 baht a night but I do miss having a pool.
