Price of Drinks Going Up on WS

Maybe it's just me. But it seems the price of liquor has increased about 10 to 20% the past month on WS.

 

I noticed Hooty's increased the draft from 50 to 60. Living Dolls increased happy hour from 49 to 55 and shots from 50 to 75. I think the regular prices also increased by 10.

 

I don't go to many places but it just seems that new higher prices are the order of day.

 

The prices are going up so fast at least at Hooty's and Living Dolls the prices are just pasted over. No need to order a new sign if you decide to increase again.

Some beer prices have gone up at the suppliers so that might be where some bars have followed.

Yes less tourist but goverment did put 5% tax on alcohol earlier this year!!!

Be a decent bet that they go up again within a week or two.

Or do they not play high season/low season prices now that its alot

Its 54 to the £ today, was 46 when I left in Feb this year...thats about 20% more....

That means the price of beer has gone up by 10 whole pence it’s an OUTRAGE, I thought prices were supposed to be fixed forever and never ever change…….

 

I not going to go now, I only pay £1000 for a flight to Thailand, £600 or so for a hotel so I can buy beer slightly cheaper than I can in the UK so I can’t see the point in going anymore…….

Steer clear of walking st, there's more to patts than WS. I tend to drink around Soi Buakhao beer bars. 45 / 55 baht a bottle beer. any kind.
