THAI MONARCH ENJOYS GROWING APPETITE, NO FEVER

BANGKOK, Sept 25 (TNA) - His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej is enjoying a growing appetite, no fever and is receiving more physical therapy, according to the Royal Household Bureau.

 

 

The bureau, in its sixth statement, dated September 25, said that during the past 24 hours His Majesty could have more food and his fever has disappeared.

 

The medical team has given him physical therapy twice a day in order to restore his health and well-being.

 

The physicians of the 81-year-old monarch continued to treat him with antibiotics to complete the regimen of medications, but stopped giving him intravenous fluid.

 

His Majesty the King was admitted to Siriraj Hospital after developing fever and not eating last weekend.

 

A large number of the Thai public from all walks of life flocked into the hospital since Monday to sign their names in the get-well books provided by the Royal Household Bureau, expressing their well-wishes to their beloved king.

good to hear the last thing thai people need is more unrest in the country..........

 

I feel still needs more time for things to get back to normal there...............
