Mayfair - Soi Buakhaw

Hello,

Stayed at Mayfair at the southern end of Soi Buakhaw in Sept 09.

Rooms are 700 (large - with balcony) 600 (Small - with balcony) 500 (small - no window)

It appears fairly new and has all the usual stuff (Cable TV / Air / Hot Shower / Safe and of course a comfy bed)

Nothing fancy tho... just a good clean room (and no problems with bringing a fried back) :)

If you go I would take a small room with balcony (600bt)... mine faced the back so was quieter. The only difference is the size. So unless you want to do push ups or something...

When it was "Thomson House" not long ago, they charged 9500 bht per month + utilities. My mate here in Auckland stayed there on 2 occasions and was very satisfied!

When is you next trip planned? We have 33 days till Bye Bye N.Z.

Im thinking of going december january, never been there at that time, alot more expensive with airfares at twice the price or more and I have noticed alot of room prices have edged up the last 12mnths but there are still some good pricing there.

the airlines a busy at that time its getting harder to get the seat on the right dates, but its having the right timing to get back to paradise.
