August Suites or Pattaya Bay Resort

Hello everyone, as I am planning my first trip in november i have read very good post on both hotels. But I would like to know on an overall opinion which do you feel is a better hotel to stay Pattaya Bay Resort or August Suites? As far as location and overall value for money? Any help you all can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thank you and take care...

Never stayed at PBR but stayed at August Suites late time for seven nights. Recommend August Suites.

Same same me....August Suites is a fantastic hotel. This thread here has quite a lot of info on it. PBR also gets a lot of good reviews, but comparing the two, August Suites wins for me.

Thank you everyone for your help, I have one more question. Which hotels is better between the August Suites and the LK Renaissane? LK is about $10 more but seems like a very nice hotel as well. But I would also like to know which area is better or more conveint? Please let me know, thanks again...

Convenient for what ?You'll have to be more specific. With Pattaya being a reasonably compact place and an abundance of Baht buses and moto-taxis, you're never really that far from anything.

I meant closer to the action, but I was reading some post and saw that August Suites was close to soi 7&8 but also not far from soi 6. But how far is it from walking street I was wondering? I defianately want to go to soi 6, and a couple of massage parlors...

From August Suites, walk to the corner of Pattaya Central and 2nd road. If going to walking street, walk across 2nd road and wait for a baht bus (next to police booth) to take you to beach road hang left and straight to walking street.
