Nova Park Executive Suites. Anyone stayed there ?

Before I start, I'd just like to say what a superb forum this is. I've already learned a lot about Pattaya and I've not been yet.

(I know, lots more to learn when I actually get there !?!?)

I'm looking at Nova Park Executive Suites and was wondering if anyone had stayed there.

I had looked at Citin Loft, but heard that it was a bit far out and hard to find.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Phil

I would say Citin Loft is better located than Nova Park. Citin Loft is almost new, Nova Park looking a little worn two years ago when I went there.

Thanks for that gogo dog.

Someone else told me that also.

I've looked on Google Earth and they're not far from each other, but Citin Loft is closer to Central Road.

I've stayed at Nova Park before (twice). Fairly conveniently located. Short walk to Big C. Even shorter walk to Soi 6. Can baht bus with only a short walk.

Price wise it is OK. Service is OK. Pool is OK. Security OK. No Joiner Fee. Jamieson's Pub is their restaurant.

A couple years ago someone opened a night club right across the road. Would suggest you make sure you ask for a room that isn't on the end near the road.

Suggest you look at Pattaya Bay Resort (PBR) as an alternative too. Nice roof top pool. Nice rooms. Right behind the new Avenue Mall and only a short walk from Soi Buakow and Soi Dianna.

if you are talking about the nova park executive aparments, which i think you are, then i stayed there a couple of weeks ago. it was okay value for the price, about 1350 a day, but i ended up staying at amari nova suites not too far away for a 2000 a night, which was way more worth it.

nova park was okay if you're on a budget, but the wifi would constantly not work in my room and no one could fix it. i needed wifi because thats how i call my family. also, the bathtub/showers only have half a door, so the bathroom floor would get wet when the girls would shower in there, small puddles and such. i stayed in two different rooms, both had a very faint mildew. other than that it was okay.

Thanks for the replies gents !

Yes I AM on a budget, so I've booked Nova Park 2 bedroomed apartment for 2030 nett.

I'm only there for 4 nights, so I'm sure it will be ok.

I measured the distance from Soi 6 on Google Earth and it's literally 500 metres and a further 350 metres to the beach. Hardly a long way out as some reviews on TripAdvisor suggested. I'm guessing a lot of people don't like walking much nowadays :P

I'll post some photos when I get back.
