Qatar are pretty good; but what are the connections like? Have you had a look at e-bookers website?

Yep... the connects are a bit of a pain.... 8 hour wait in doha....... made me think again lol

Some of the Emirates flights have an eight and a half hour stop in Dubai, which is more tolerable cos of the Irish Bar in Dubai. In Doha there is nothing....I tend to think that these long stopovers are reflected in the price of the flight. I am goin China Airlines in Dec...Newcastle-Amsterdam (two and a half hours stop)then straight to Bkk (10 hrs), and the same on the way back.... Bring it on!!!Oh... £561...

Yes Qatar are OK. I flew with them a couple of yrs ago, on par with Emirates and Etihad!

If you are flexible on your dates, try shuffling the dates around, to get a shorter stop over. Try booking a Wednesday I find it is alway quieter. 8 hours stop over is far too long!

Irish bar has gone now! They do have another bar up stairs, but not been there as I was in Bus lounge.

I could never spend 8 hours in a airport waiting for my connecting flight. So I would look for a flight that cost a little more but only had a short wait for my connecting flight

Greetings

Just returned from LOS a week ago.I have returne flight with QA to LGW.QA are one of the only six official 5* airways in the world.

The service and flight quality are superb, but try prebook your seats.Best economy seat on Airbus 330/300 is 31A or 31K

(next emergency exit). As for the price it's a pure BARGAIN.

Go For It!!!

I've only recently heard about the Asda site and have heard some good reports off the site. I've already got my next flights booked with another company. So in January I will look at the Asda site for my July/August trip
