Just seen this new boutique hotel advertised and looking at the pictures it looks stunning for the money.

I think the only downside for me is the location (would rather stay a bit nearer WS) but looking at the hotel itself I would gladly put up with that!

 

So has anyone stayed there before? Any reports?

Just stayed at Vista about 2 weeks ago for 3 nights. Nice little hotel on Soi 4. Emailed the manager, if its ok to bring guest. He said usually not but will leave a note for the front desk. Got a free 1hr massage, daily breakfast and free drinks at the bar during this low season. The hotel is own by a Thai and Pinoy so there are a few Filipinos working there. Their English and service is great but I also liked the Thai staff there. Also the salt water pool is awesome.

 

A few cons; the 1400 B room is small, the WIFI is not the greatest and finally being in the middle of the Soi, its a walk to both Beach and 2nd Road. Not sure if this matters but there were a bunch of Arabs and Indians there.

 

But since you will be out and about for most of the time, the hotel is a great place to store your things. Lastly, if you get the free massage, please TIP the girl. Cheers.

The website is overdone, not user friendly in my opinion what does....Accommodation benefits:

Nice room and great location but they did make a huge mistake by using saltwater for the pool. This always give your skin an itchy feeling when finished swimming and laying back on your sunchair! So they won't see me until a have some fresh water to swim in!

We normally charge a joiner fee of 600 Baht per person per night,

particularly to bookings made through agents.

However, if you make your booking direrctly through our hotel website, I can

waive the joiner fee for you.

You will get 1 free joiner per day, breakfast not included for her.

In excess of 1 joiner per day, there is already a charge of 600 Baht.

I am booked at Tims, but if I cancel before Tuesday I dont have any cancellation costs and for about 500 Baht cheaper per day I think this Hotel is better option

Just booked my stay at Hotel Vista, checking in Thursday.

 

Have cancelled my booking at Tims Boutique. I just has a silly bad feeling about that booking all alone. Dont know why.

 

Anyway thanks Tim for all your help and speedy speedy process..
