Klm Cheap Flights

For those of you in UK. I got an email today from KLM saying they had a flight sale to Bangkok.

I booked leaving on 7th Oct for 4 weeks for £440, and leaving on 29th Dec for four weeks for £590.

These are the cheapest flights I have had in ten trips. Flying from Glasgow, previously, I have paid between £700 and £1300 depending on the dates.

I know those of you in London may not think the prices are that low, but they are certainly very good from Glasgow!

Might be worth a look

As someone who also travels a lot from Scottish Airports to Bangkok, I agree that these are great prices. If you are able to get anywhere between £400-450 then you have a bargain. The norm I pay is £480 - £530, but have paid as much as £680.

My next flight is with Singapore Air in Feb, from Scotland for £400 in an Airbus A380 :) :) :)

That Singapore Airline flight looks like a great deal.

I think my problem with prices has partly been that I never book up too far in advance. The new year flight is the furthest away I have booked ever. Normally I book within a few weeks of travel and it seems to cost a lot more.

Are they direct or change at Schiphol?

They are change at Schipol.

I would love it if there was a direct flight from Glasgow. Really, you have to change somewhere like Amsterdam, Dubai or London.

I joined Emirates frequent flyer program and was going to try them for these holidays as they seem a bit cheaper than KLM. However,I am very happy with these prices from KLM. More money to enjoy when I arrive!

Just had a quick look and put my dates in 15th Dec to Jan 4th. Around £850 from Manchester but I have already booked with Etihad for £726 through Southall travel.

I flew KLM and China Air last Xmas, Man to Ams fine and is a very nice airport and the stopover was quite pleasent. Went in the casino and lost 20 euros so came out, oil massage with happy ending or a spin of the roulette wheel for 15 seconds entertainment, both 20 euros so decided to try and win a massage, lost and decided one 15 second was enough.

On way back there was only a 50 minute stopover, the plane (China air) was late and missed connection. Had a 5 hour wait but KLM were spot on with new ticket, before I could ask what was happening I was directed to a row of automatic ticket dispenses it scanned my originl ticket and issued new one with new boarding pass, not their fault plane was delayed from Bkk but they made sure I got next possible flight.

I hate connections and now will always try to fly direct if possible. I'm close to London so my options are good but for Scotand/Ireland etc I imagine it must be more difficult to say the least. Last Xmas I had horrible stopovers in Doha although I couldn't fault Qatar Airways.

My Pattaya budget is perfectly adequate as long as I don't spend any of it

How come the out flight is gone if you'd already booked it?

I dont envy you having to book connections all the time.

    • For those that don't know, I did Friday meetings before many years ago,  I feel like we are missing a regular meeting for members,  I am aware guys meet at PA affiliated bars. But I want to start meeting people again, I'm inviting the guys following my YouTube also.

The meetings is a chance to get to meet each other,  I plan to be at every meeting, I also have Dean from Dive bar that has offered to help out with a crawl after.
The meetings will be  Monday  6 pm - 8 pm each week.  (The improvised bar crawl will commence at 8 p.m.  Dean will make his own plans for that.)

Due to low numbers of people in town, I will start the meetings in our bars to help our girls and managers, please check back often incase things are changed.  I will be sharing the love around town later, but Soi 6 is first on my list (including bars that are friendly competition)
If bar owners want us to have a meeting at their bar,  they need to have a minimum of 10 girls.  I'm not dragging people to empty bars for favours.
Please help us invite other members, it takes a while to get momentum.
Monday 6 pm - 8pm  (then bar crawl after)
      21st March - Playpen Soi 6
28th March - Night wish bar Soi 6

      11th April - Repent Soi 6
18th April - where angels play Soi 6
25th April -  (next bar we have open)

2nd May - (next bar we have open)
      9th May - Cooters bar soi 6
16th May - Hot shots bar Soi 6
23rd May - (next bar we have open)
      30th of May - Lust soi 6
      6th of June - Illuzion

I look forward to meeting people again.
