Looking for a hotel close to the action but not a dive!!! Looking to spend $80 - $110 USD per night. Can anyone recommend a GF hotel in this area??

http://www.strandinn.com would be perfect for you. guest freindly. Located on patpong2. 30 seconds from patpong1. great rooms, good price.

for a cheaper option try http://pavilionplace.com/ , also on patpong2, but watch out for the bed bugs.

Thanks for posting this, I was thinking about staying here (Strand Inn) to check out some of the action in Patpong.

This looks like a great hotel near the action and with it being GF, I will plan on booking a room here a night or two.

Thanks.

Is there a specific rason why you want to stay in this area?

Much better hotels on Suk and many, many better mongering options.

Patpong is ok for a look and to buy a watch.

Cheers.

I am currently in the Malaysian hotel and am pleasantly suprised at how not dingy it is. I know this is an old hotel but the deluxe rooms are a decent size, no bedbugs or roaches, cheap internet and laundry. I've had people sneer when I mentioned this hotel but I'm here now and it's not bad at all. My only problem with it is that it is at least a 20 min walk to Silom but there are plenty or taxis and tuk tuks about. For less than a 1000 baht a night, I give it my thumbs up :GoldenSmile1:
