Leng Khee Restaurant

Recommended Posts

Talking about food, I just thought I would add the best thai restarant I've been able to find in Patts.

Sure all of you expats know this place(how the hell couldn't you).

Here's 2 of my favorite dishes:

Their beef in Red curry is spicy and delicious (not the soup, just barbequed steak pieces in a spicy mix of chili, red curry, herbs ect.)

Plus they probably have the best Gai pad met mad muang in Thailand (chicken cashew nuts, try this once, and you're hooked, the chicken is sliced good, and marinated to perfection, and has a twist of barbeque flavor in it.) The meals are rather big for a Thai restaurant too.

Prices are good, and the food is superb, plus the place never has closed.

Check it out if you haven't.

At the end of Soi Bukchao at Pattaya Klang.

Is it the big restaurant on your right, where a lot of bar-girls like to eat?

Yeah, it is on the right, when you come from Pattaya Klang towards Carrefour, it's on the right, before Soi Buakhaw, it has it's one small soi, which ends in Soi Buakhaw right after the restaurant, and a left turn.

I haven't seen all the bar girls go there, it's probably twice the price of one of their normal meals, so it's catering more to couples. Thats what I've seen most of the times.

If you haven't tried it yet then go ahead man.

It's gonna be another 2 months before I'll have their superb chicken and cashew nuts.

Cheers mate

Due to the club closing at midnight and it being on the way home, we often stop there if we have been to busy to eat earlier. Yet to have a bad meal there, staff always look after us and the prices are reasonable.

Thanks for the link, makes it a bit easier to see where it is.

Good to see I'm not alone in my review of this restaurant.

I highly recommend the Pla Sam Rod (Fish with 3 flavour sauce (Sweet chilli type sauce over deep fried Garoupa fish))

Best Thai-Chinese restaurant in Pattaya. Try the Duck. I have not been back to Kiss since I found this place.

  • 1 month later...

Although I have been to Pattaya many times,I have never been for more than a week,so I tend to stick to the Areas I know, however I will be coming for 2 weeks, next week, the 22nd.

I have been reading the Eating out posts and was interested in the good write ups Len-Kee got,but unfortunately the map view doesnt do anything for me as I am not accustomed to that area, although I will be staying at the Pattya Bay hotel,I have a rough idea of the area but not totally convinced,I wonder if one of you would be good enough to point me in the right direction and how long will it take me to walk there from say Liquid Lounge,if I was standing with my back to LL would I turn left say to Butchers Arms or right heading to-wards Pattaya Bay hotel,in anticipation thanks for your effort.

Apart from being quickly served the food is really nothing to write home about.

Most of the thai dishes lack real taste. Good for a quick fix at best imo.

The funny thing is that they will add 10 THB/person to the bill if you eat inside (someone has to pay for aircon) :BJ3:

Just my opinion...
