The Dreams A Dream

Recommended Posts

We had need to go up to Bangkok on Monday and rather than dash back we decided to stay over night. A friend who was going with us suggested the Dream hotel situated on Sukumvit Soi 15. As soon as we arrived I knew it was the right choice, it is what I think you would call a 'designer hotel' and the staff were excellent to match.

Whilst having a superb foyer and a huge spacious dining/breakfast room, the standard bedrooms are not large but have been designed from start to finish. You immediately feel comfortable all lights are controllable the flat screen TV was let into the wall with a slim line DVD player below. The wardrobes all have hidden lights when you open the doors with ample hangers, a safe, slippers and dressing gowns.

There is a well stocked fridge, a glass top table, and two drawers equipped with a coffee making paraphernalia along with beer, spirit, wine and champagne glasses. A bowl of fruit.

The curtains are fully lined black-out ones that let very few chinks of daylight through, to compensate this once you have turned the lights off there is a special low glow switch which will give the room blue 'Mood" lighting, you have to experience it to understand when I say, if you have a lady with you hang on to the bedsheets as your in for a ride. Speaking of the bed it and the bedding were the most comfortable I have ever experienced in any hotel.

The breakfast was an excellent buffet affair with a fresh egg station, and did I mention how well trained the staff were? When we went out in the evening to eat, we asked them how to get somewhere they asked the name of the restaurant, then found the number, phoned it, got exact direction to them then called a taxi and ensured he understood their instructions of where to go.

The total price for this on Agoda was 65 US an absolute steal when the lass said to me as we left; I would like to stay here again please.

We did not go fully prepared as it was a spur of the moment thing but here are a few pictures.

Agreed and well said---

Cerberus doesnt go out of his way to post things unless they are of the highest quality. If he says this is a great place and even takes the time to post pics then you can trust that it is excellent.

Thanks Cerberus.

What... service... may I do you? Hmmm? You know I demand payment.--- I brought payment. Look! BAM!! An undead monkey! Top that!

Hey Cerberus,

I stayed there once as well... Very nice place. I was charged more than that, but that was about 6 months ago... I would stay there again in a heart beat. The lady loved the mood lighting as well...

Excellent hotel. Looking at your pictures it appears that they upgraded me to a deluxe even though I booked a classic through Agoda for the same price as you did. My room had a nice "L" shaped sectional sofa under the window. They also put fresh fruit and sweets in your room when you get back for the evening. The girls just love this hotel.

The walk is about 5 mins. I stayed there on my first trip to Thailand back in 2007. Great hotel and staff was top notch. Food is or was great also. Free breakfast. I would stay there anytime.

see that they have an outdoor pool , what time do they shut it

"And were you pleased?" they asked Helen in Hell.

"Pleased?" answered she,when all Troy's towers fell;

And dead were Priam´s sons, and lost his throne?

And such a war was fought as none had known;

And even the Gods took part; and all because

Of me alone! Pleased?

I should say I was!"

    • For those that don't know, I did Friday meetings before many years ago,  I feel like we are missing a regular meeting for members,  I am aware guys meet at PA affiliated bars. But I want to start meeting people again, I'm inviting the guys following my YouTube also.

The meetings is a chance to get to meet each other,  I plan to be at every meeting, I also have Dean from Dive bar that has offered to help out with a crawl after.
The meetings will be  Monday  6 pm - 8 pm each week.  (The improvised bar crawl will commence at 8 p.m.  Dean will make his own plans for that.)

Due to low numbers of people in town, I will start the meetings in our bars to help our girls and managers, please check back often incase things are changed.  I will be sharing the love around town later, but Soi 6 is first on my list (including bars that are friendly competition)
If bar owners want us to have a meeting at their bar,  they need to have a minimum of 10 girls.  I'm not dragging people to empty bars for favours.
Please help us invite other members, it takes a while to get momentum.
Monday 6 pm - 8pm  (then bar crawl after)
      21st March - Playpen Soi 6
28th March - Night wish bar Soi 6

      11th April - Repent Soi 6
18th April - where angels play Soi 6
25th April -  (next bar we have open)

2nd May - (next bar we have open)
      9th May - Cooters bar soi 6
16th May - Hot shots bar Soi 6
23rd May - (next bar we have open)
      30th of May - Lust soi 6
      6th of June - Illuzion
13th of June - (next bar we have open)

I look forward to meeting people again.
