Going To Kho Si Chang.....

Thinking of having a couple of days in Kho Si Chang just me and a lady friend . As anybody been there or got any tips ? Thanks Alan.

If you mean the island off SRiracha there are a few ways to go . Easiest is just get up to Sukhumvit, catch the bus about every 20 minutes. Ticket price was 30 odd baht last year and get off at the Robinsons(Huge Department store) in Sriracha its about 25 minutes journey time . A tuktuk around the corner will take you to the ferry, 40 baht usually ; dont have to bargain much as you have now left touristland .

Each ferry goes roughly hourly but unless you have booked an hotel you will have to bargain for a tuktuk to take you to whichever beach you want.

Check out the web pages ko-sichang koh sri schang and sriracha on google theres more every year, if you cut and paste a bit of the Thai ones to search and then translate back to English you will find a great deal of info -prices and hotels, temples etc.

If you havent travelled on your own before its very easy, minimal thai is needed and the beaches and food on the island are very nice as its a thai holiday place . Please go in the Robinsons check out the food court, great value loads of bargains prices about 30% below Patts.
