Another nail in the tourism coffin. 2000 Baht is the maximum fine for dropping a cigarette butt. I would have pissed myself if they had of accused Butterflyman of that.

Oh if only it were so! I'd of seen it as sign and dedicated the rest of my life to Buddism - while also pissing myself of course.

Thank you very much for posting this scam.

I read it in a danish newspaper and the poor guy was pretty scared.

It is a hard time in Thailand now, but if they keep doing this it will not improve the situation.

They are apparently happy with us Dane, I had to pay 2000 THB in Bangkok for throwing a cigarette into a sewer, they said I polluted water
