Its not disabled in posts (you have the option of turning it on in post options) but for some reason countdown clocks dont show when placed in a post.

Hi mate. This is the best I have been able to work out so far.

The clocks will work in posts if you go to the full editor and enable 'HTML On - Auto Linebreak Mode'.

But there is no option for this in the sig settings.

Mine is currently working, but I'm not game to mess with it in case I fk it up.

Use Firefox. IE8 appears to have more bugs than a bait shop.

Can you give a little more detail on your instructions please?

I hit the Editor button and didn't see the 'HTML Option....' anywhere.

Is this done when updating one's profile? or when posting a reply?

Thanks.

You have to go in here: countdown clock

When you have created your ticker, you will have to go in to your profile settings/edit my signature and paste the HTML code that you get.

Then click save changes

edit:pm the code that you got to me and i will help you out

Thank you! It worked like a charm. :GoldenSmile1:

Strangely I had not thought about making a countdown as I have not purchased my tickets so the dates are not exact...but close enough for me!!! :GoldenSmile1::D

Ok but why will it only work as a signature? Before you could just paste it in. Cheers

testing to see if my countdown clock is working. Looked at the threads and seem to be doing all the right stuff. If my code does show, anyone see something wrong. Thanks

If you have tried as suggested in the above posts then try this

Ive mentioned this before , but I can only get the signature to work when using firefox webrowser, It wont work for me with Internet Explorer. (even after a fresh Pc rebuild)

So give Firefox a try (you may be prompted to install Pluggins), otherwise search this forum as there are many topics regarding the counter issue.

I myself happily use Internet Explorer for my Day to Day stuff But I find this site and Bells Buses site can have issues with I.E
