Its been a couple of years since I been to Pattaya finally going in november.

last place i stayed was residence garden n got a good price by being a FLB bar member.

Want to stay up around the BIG C shopping mall this time.

Back in the old days I remember where the new sabia resort is.... It used to be the weekender hotel.

Been searching the the web n found that sabia resort and sabia lodge looks pretty good.

Any information n anyone who stayed there recently give me the scoop of the place.

Best section of resort/lodge to stay in and also girl friendly?

Thanks guys this site is great!!!!!!

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I 've been in Sabai lodge in april 2007 in standard room for 1250 Bath = swimming pool and room with elektromnic safe is ok but bathroom was worn down! Stayed in april 2009 in Sabai Inn just acros the street of Sabai lodge for 850 Bath and these rooms are better than sabai lodge with nice clean bathroom, safe in the room .... and you can use the swimmingpools of the sister hotel Sabai lodge for free so much better than sabai lodge. See http://www.sabaiinn.com/index.html for more info! and don't look at the published internetrates, u just have to bargain money down!

nd if u don't mind a little walk in Naklua road soi 18/2 you find Lek Villa for 1250 bqth with great rooms, 50m swimming pool with 2 jacuzzi's and breakfastbuffet include for 2 pers. until 13h00 and it's only about 150m walk till the Dolphins round! See http://www.lekvilla.com /

A good girl gives you happiness and a bad girl gives you experience both are essential in life so enjoy every girlfriend!

I stayed at sabai lodge in march this year for 8 days.

The room (Deluxe C Ruen Thai) was a little bit dark because it was on the ground floor but it was like what i expected.

1200 instead of 1450 in march without breakfast was ok.

You don't have to pay a joiner fee even if you take back more than one girl :BB_Fight:

The food was great and baht busses stopped in front of the hotel......so.......

It's a nice hotel with great pools, very friendly staff and good food. And it's very easy to go everywhere with baht bus....

I nealy always stay in the Sabai Wing of Sabai lodge, about 1250 pn good rooms, comfy bed, balcony over looking the pool. has 4 pools in total, is girl friendly. Only downside is breakfast is dull (if youre up in time!!) but the Queen Vic on Soi 6 is walking distance for a good fry-up

If you want it a little quieter ask for the soi 1 side of the building

I've stayed in all three of the Sabia's mentioned. Enjoyed my stay at all three. Must admit i was impressed with the Sabi Inn, the room was a very good size, and the bed seemed to be biggest of the three. Liked the perspect shower screen in Sabi Inn. Maybe i'm a messy showerer but with just a shower cutain always seem to manage to flood the rest of the bathroom area. Stayed for 28 nights at the Sabi Inn, May to June 09 for 725 baht a night. Of the three, the Sabi Resort is still my favourite but been on a budget last few trips. I wish the Sabi Lodge and sabi Inn would remove all the dark wood paneling in the rooms. It's not even proper wood but cheap one piece panels. It's so 1980'S. Even if they had them professionally painted a light colour, would brighten up the rooms no end.

Can only add to what has already been said, I stayed at Sabai Lodge and its a good value for money hotel, 4 pools , no joiner fee's , the location is pretty good if your not spending every minute in Walking Street.

I stayed at the sabai resort in March 08 for a week i had the standard room for 1250 baht without breakfast. I found it to be a quiet hotel but old. the pool is decent. the breakfast was not that good it was okay. the room had a safe that can hold a laptop. but no internet in the room. there is free wireless in the lobby area. which was slow. i had booked it for 2 weeks but left after a week to go to the pattaya bay resort. My feeling is that the older hotels are not a bargain because the price is going up while the quality is going down. also crossing 2nd road nuts. this next trip i may take in november I plan on staying at one of the newer hotels on the beach side. if the price is right

If you prefer the newer hotels there's the Sabai Empress which opened this spring I believe

I thought it was perfect, except the bed was much too hard for me. I gave 2 tries over the last 2 trips but next trip I will stay some where else.

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm just back from the Sabai Resort with the family and overall I thought it was over priced. There is something wrong with the water pressure in all of the rooms, so when you go for a shower you either get roasted or frozen as it seems to be pulsing. They had just started redecorating a bit of the hotel and the whole place smelled of paint. There was the boom booming of music outside the Big C which the wife didn't like but I never heard cos' I was away researching bars. The breakfast was dull.

Previous to staying here I was in a place called The Sunview which was a third of the price and far better.

Sabai Inn has been my chosen place to stay for my last 4 trips. However, despite trying, I've never managed to get them to budge one baht below their published internet rates. Those rates are quite good so it has not affected my choice.

One thing you should be aware of is that there is building work going on next door. Welkum Inn has been demolished and is being rebuilt.

Do someone have pics of the bathrooms in Sabai Lodge?

What kinda a standard are the bathrooms.

Been looking on the website, but there are no good pics of the bathrooms.

Else it's looks like a good and hotel, love the pools.

I stayed in a deluxe room 2 years ago and they have a bathtub with shower in there bathroom, sort of like American(western)style hotel rooms, not the Thai style with shower next to toilet and water all over the floor

    • For those that don't know, I did Friday meetings before many years ago,  I feel like we are missing a regular meeting for members,  I am aware guys meet at PA affiliated bars. But I want to start meeting people again, I'm inviting the guys following my YouTube also.

The meetings is a chance to get to meet each other,  I plan to be at every meeting, I also have Dean from Dive bar that has offered to help out with a crawl after.
The meetings will be  Monday  6 pm - 8 pm each week.  (The improvised bar crawl will commence at 8 p.m.  Dean will make his own plans for that.)

Due to low numbers of people in town, I will start the meetings in our bars to help our girls and managers, please check back often incase things are changed.  I will be sharing the love around town later, but Soi 6 is first on my list (including bars that are friendly competition)
If bar owners want us to have a meeting at their bar,  they need to have a minimum of 10 girls.  I'm not dragging people to empty bars for favours.
Please help us invite other members, it takes a while to get momentum.
Monday 6 pm - 8pm  (then bar crawl after)
      21st March - Playpen Soi 6
28th March - Night wish bar Soi 6
4th April - Toy Box bar Soi 6
      11th April - Repent Soi 6
18th April - where angels play Soi 6
25th April -  (next bar we have open)

2nd May - (next bar we have open)
      9th May - Cooters bar soi 6
16th May - Hot shots bar Soi 6
23rd May - (next bar we have open)
      30th of May - Lust soi 6
      6th of June - Illuzion
13th of June - (next bar we have open)

I look forward to meeting people again.
