Three times this has happened now.

I get a popup windows message saying that 'internet explorer can not open site' and 'operation aborted'.

By clicking 'ok' it defaults to the usual 'page cannot be displayed' page. Only gettting this on the Addicts new forum.

The same thing has been happening to me from day 1, on certain pages of certain posts. I assume the admin knows about this and a fix is in the works.

I had many problems using Internet Explorer and switched over to Firefox and that solved them.

same same ~5% of the time

more info:

1. seems to be content-specific because I will be viewing other pages in a thread ok, then when I try the next page in the thread the problem happens.

2. problem is consistently repeatable

3. using IE 7 on Windows XP

I'll try to isolate some example pages; it would probably help if other BMs could do so as well.

Update:

I cut my "posts per page" setting down to 5 to better isolate a specific post in a thread with the problem content.

So here's an example page that breaks IE 7:

Thread: "Post a cute thai girl ass"

Problem post range (somewhere between these):

start: #441 by bigjimslay posted 22 June 2009 - 1:37 AM

end: #446 by Anthony USA posted 03 July 2009 - 3:40 PM

So some content in posts #441 - #445 in the above thread has the problem HTML.

If any other BMs reporting this problem can reproduce it by trying to view the post range above, that would help isolate the problem further.
