The room is internet ready - i.e., has a telephone line in. You go to telephone company (in carefour i believe) and ask them to turn it on. I think it takes 1-2 days. Pricing for internet from phone company varies from something like 500-3,000 baht depending on how much speed/bandwidth you want.

Not sure of the soi. Can see it from my condo and it is pretty close to carefour.
