Monkey Invasion causing havoc in Sriracha

 

A story now from nearby Sriracha District which has been invaded by a group of monkeys. A road close to the Power Station in Toong Sukrar sub-district is now full of the monkeys which are causing problems for motorists especially at night and we understand that a number of the monkey’s have already been hurt because of road accidents. On Tuesday Morning we spotted them playing on the live cables and it also appears that some local residents have provided them with bananas to eat which is keeping them in the area. We understand they normally live in a nearby mountainous area and because of a lack of food, they have ventured into urban areas. The local authorities have been asked to remove the monkeys as soon as possible, however catching them is no easy task according to a local animal expert we spoke with.
