Unknown Thai woman killed in high speed road crash.

On Thursday Morning, Police Lieutenant Saeksak from Huoy Yai Police Station was called to Highway 331 to investigate a fatal road accident. At the scene, the crash, involving a motorbike and a 6-wheel truck resulted in the death of an unknown female thought to be aged between 35 and 40. She had sustained multiple injuries suggesting a high impact collision. The truck was parked-up close-by and had sustained major damage to the front of the vehicle and the motorbike, driven by the victim, was lodged under the front of the truck. The truck driver, who works for Nong Nooch Gardens, Khun Nooglai aged 55 explained that he was driving at speed and spotted the motorbike driving towards him in the same lane, against the flow of traffic. He was unable to avoid a head-on collision. Police are investigating the crash further before they press any criminal charges in relation to the accident.

Sounds absolutely horrific.

Just sums up why motorbikes are potential deathtrap as you have no protection.

Horrible way to go.

Yes, I am sure if it had been another truck in a head on collision with that truck all would have been ok - or maybe a car in a head on with a truck?

Sums up why not to drive against traffic straight into a multi-ton truck.
