Four Seasons Place

I'd like some opinions on Four Seasons Place:

http://www.fourseasonsplace.com/contact.htm

I've looked at various maps (including google) and it seems to be a bit further away from the action. The issue I have is the maps have no scale on them so I don't know how far it is to walk to places. My wife is tagging along so I dont' mind a bit of quiet but it would be handy to be within 15 min walk of the action, particularly during the day. Obviously the hotel doesn't need to be GF with my wife there but the occasional massage would be great - have read about Tammy from the Yellow place in other areas and may try to get to Jomtien at some stage.

We'd like to be close enough to walk out from the hotel without having to book the hotel shuttle service all the time... from what you guys know of the area can you point me in the right direction as to whether this hotel is too far away and if so, the areas in which would be better to look for a hotel?

We enjoy just walking around and taking in the atmosphere of Thailand. Shopping/massages during the day and then eating out/market shopping at night. Any helpful info on whether we'd be able to walk to places like Mike's, big c plus any massage places (i know they are everywhere) etc during the day and restaurant areas at night would be great too.

Thanks in advance for any help.

thats way out of my cheap charlie price range.

you can easily walk through soi bukhao down to beach road and onto Walking Street passing lots of girlie bars on the way, then motorbike taxi back :)

later GD

I'm staying in soi LK pavillion a little further south on 3rd road than the 4 seasons I have walked past but not visitedbut its about a 10 minute slow walk along 3rd road from its junction with south pattaya road where you will easily get public transport all over........if coming home in the night i'd be on a baht bus plus a short motor cycle taxi ride along 3rd road. Access will be far easier off south pattaya/3rd road than from Soi buckow and soi lengee side
